I joined in 2016 at a point where my career was climbing and everything else was quietly falling behind. I was leading teams at work and leading nobody at home.
The weekly teachings gave me something I had not had in years: a reason to sit still. The Bible studies were rigorous, and the all-night prayer sessions were not a performance. They were work.
Nine years later, the difference is not that my life got easier. It is that I stopped leading on an empty tank.
